NeuTTS Air from Neuphonic is built to run in real time on a CPU — a ~0.7B-parameter model on a Qwen backbone that still manages instant voice cloning from around three seconds of reference audio. It's designed for on-device privacy, which also makes it one of the cheapest modern TTS models to serve.

Commercial conditions: The current repository explicitly distinguishes Apache Air weights from newer Nano/2E models under the NeuTTS Open License. Pin a compatible code revision and review its license, the codec and reference voices. Do not transfer Air’s Apache tag to the current shared code or newer models.
